Using A Foreign Language TTS Engine
(VBScript)

This page demonstrates using a foreign language Text-to-Speech
Engine. Once the characters and their animations have been
successfully loaded, Robby will appear and introduce Merlin in
American English. Merlin will then appear and respond in French. You
can refresh the page to make this happen again.

Be patient! Loading of the characters may take a few minutes.

This sample loads its characters from an HTTP URL,
so you must be connected to the WWW and be able to
reach the server at http://agent.microsoft.com, 583
or the sample will not work properly.

If you haven't already installed the Lernout and Hauspie TruVoice
TTS Engine and TTS3000 French TTS Engine, you will be prompted
to do so. Without the TTS Engines, the characters will speak,
but will not produce audible speech output.
